Express Clothing: How To Dress In A Flash!

Express clothing performance is a tall order unless you plan your wardrobe appropriately. If you want to get dressed in a flash and look great when you're done, you need to follow these "express fashion" guidelines:

1. Choose Clothes That Mix and Match Easily

Never add a new item to your wardrobe that doesn't work with at least three other pieces in your closet. The key to dressing quickly and easily is in selecting clothes that work well with each other.

2. Stick With A Handful of Colors

If you populate your closet with 3 or 4 primary colors, you'll be able to mix and match the pieces easily. Red, blue, green, black, brown, etc., are a lot easier to mix and match than buttercup yellow and tangerine orange. Think 3 or 4 colors will limit your options? They'll actually expand your wardrobe considerably, allowing you to mix and match more pieces.

3. Opt For Classic Styles

Basic clothing styles wear longer and mix easier than trendy, "of-the-moment" fashions. If you want express clothing options, go basic on the clothes and add flair with your accessories.

4. Buy Clothes That Are Easy To Maintain

Buy clothes that you can and will maintain. If it's "dry clean only" or requires a lot of ironing, it will probably spend more time hanging in your closet that be worn on your back. Express clothing means clothes that can be ready to go on a moment's notice.

5. Buy Quality, Not Quantity

Buy the best quality of clothes that you can afford. Well-made clothes will last longer and wear better than poorly made or constructed items. If you invest in quality, you'll be amazed at the return you'll get.

Planning an express clothing wardrobe takes a little time and practice, but is well worth the effort. If you want to get dressed in a flash, then engineer your wardrobe for express clothing performance. You don't need a lot of money or even lots of clothes; all you need is a nice selection of well-chosen pieces and a little time and patience to discover great combinations that you can put to work in your closet.
